Abstract
A case report of glassy cell carcinoma of the cervix occurring during pregnancy is presented. Clinical staging was FIGO IB and treatment consisted of a radical hysterectomy, bilateral ovarian transposition, and postoperative pelvic radiation therapy. The patient had a relapse in one of the transposed ovaries. A review of ovarian conservation in Stage IB carcinoma of the cervix is discussed.Entities:
