Abstract
Acute diarrhoea in children is a common presentation in both the general practice and hospital emergency department settings. Current practice focuses on the prevention and management of dehydration in young children. However, general practitioners may not be aware of recommendations against the use of routine investigation, antidiarrhoeals and antiemetics in children or recommendations regarding dietary advice.Entities:
