Abstract
The current rise in the prevalence of chronic infectious diseases is in the first place attributable to the lack of efficacious antibacterial preparations to suppress pathogenic processes. The ability of pathogenic bacteria to long survive in tissue cells is due to the disturbance of protective reactions in the affected macroorganisms. Hence, the importance of investigations into the mechanisms underlying the bacterial action for the search of novel microbial targets and the development of a new generation of efficacious antibiotic drugs. Pathogenic microorganisms realize their virulent properties via type III secretion system that appears to be a most promising physiological target for drug therapy playing important role in the interaction of the pathogen with the host cells, its specific inhibition to reduce virulence of the pathogen and its elimination by the immune system.Entities:
