Effects of penfluridol of dopamine-sensitive adenylate cyclase in corpus striatum and substantia nigra of rats.

Abstract

Penfluridol, a neuroleptic with diphenylbutyl piperidine structure, blocked the dopamine-sensitive adenylate cyclase in homogenates of corpus striatum and substantia nigra of rats, probably by a competitive antagonism versus dopamine.
