Abstract
More than 300, 000 American children remain at risk for lead exposure. Many Arkansans live in poverty and old, rented dwellings, which can lead to or exacerbate effects of lead exposure. Arkansas has, however, had minimal lead surveillance, awareness, outreach, or abatement programs in recent years. This article presents new information on lead exposure to empower practitioners and concerned parties in Arkansas to initiate lead-poisoning prevention.Entities:
