Abstract
The extent to which personality traits as defined by the Big Five model account for the unique variance in job satisfaction and organizational commitment was studied. Analyses of data obtained from 96 employees of two public institutions showed that 58 and 44% of the explained variance in job satisfaction and organizational commitment, respectively, were accounted for by factors in this personological framework.Mesh:
