Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ARCAPA).

Andreas Kühn, Jelena Kasnar-Samprec, Christian Schreiber, Manfred Vogt.

Abstract

Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ARCAPA) is a very rare congenital abnormality. Echocardiographic findings are specific but may be easily misinterpreted. We therefore present the case of a 5-year old boy with emphasis on the echocardiographic findings. Copyright 2008 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
