Abstract
Laboratory information systems (LISs) represent a major budget expense. Justification of their acquisition can be conducted through several methods. Work flow, work load, LIS experience, organization, and markets vary among laboratories; thus, each laboratory faces different challenges in determining if LIS acquisition can be justified on a sound business basis.Mesh:
