Abstract
A 30-year-old woman underwent exploratory laparotomy for perforation peritonitis. Primary repair of the jejunal perforation was performed. The ulcer edge biopsy revealed Cryptococcus. Subsequently ELISA was reactive for HIV-1 antibody. This report describes a rare case of cryptococcal jejunal perforation, which was the initial presentation in an AIDS patient.Entities:
