Abstract
An 83-year-old woman, diagnosed with breast carcinoma 28 years earlier, presented with left hyperglobus and limitation of extraocular motility. CT and MRI showed bilateral nodular thickening of extraocular muscles. Left orbital biopsy disclosed metastatic breast carcinoma. Subsequent positron-emission tomography/CT revealed diffuse metastatic disease. To the authors' knowledge, this case represents the longest reported interval from the diagnosis of primary breast cancer to the presentation of orbital metastasis.Entities:
