Sonography of the fetal heart: findings on the four-chamber view.

Abstract

The normal and pathologic sonographic appearances of the fetal heart on four-chamber views are reviewed. Performed correctly, the four-chamber view is the best method of examining the complex cardiac anatomy of the small fetal heart and of detecting major congenital heart disease.
