[Distance education on cardioversion and defibrillation for nurses].

Abstract

This study aimed at developing and evaluating distance education on Cardioversion and Defibrillation for nurses, using the virtual environment of Teleduc learning. The methodology of education chosen for this course was the Case-based Learning, exploring the characteristic of the collaborative learning for which 23 nurses were invited, being that 21 had initiated the course and 11 had concluded it. The course was evaluated by professionals with experience in Distance Education and Intensive Care Unit, that they had considered the adjusted course, but that, in general, it needed small reformulations. With regards to the evaluation of the course for the participants, the great majority presented favorable opinions, with good acceptance of the methodology used and good performance during the course.
