Abstract
In recent years tuberculosis in deer caused by Mycobacterium bovis has become a disease of economic as well as public health importance to the deer farming industries of several countries, in particular those in Denmark, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. This paper sets the disease in a historical context and reviews current knowledge about various aspects of the condition, with particular reference to diagnosis and control and to research requirements for the future.Entities:
