Abstract
The application of modern imaging techniques to the study of patients with headache/migraine has dramatically changed our understanding of these conditions. Several studies of these patients have demonstrated not only the occurrence of abnormalities of function, but also relevant and diffuse structural changes of the brain white and grey matter. More recently, it has been suggested that the different forms of headache/migraine might have specific functional and structural MRI correlates, which, in the future, is likely to result in new therapeutic scenarios.Entities:
