Pituitary apoplexy associated with acute cerebral infarct.

Abstract

We describe a case of pituitary apoplexy associated with acute cerebral infarction. A review of the literature regarding the pathogenesis of cerebral infarction in the presence of pituitary apoplexy is presented and management options proposed.
