Abstract
Pulmonary hypoplasia associated with oligohydramnios results in delayed maturation of fetal lung as assessed at light microscope level. Using an elastin-specific electron-microscopic staining technique, we report absent elastic tissue development in the septal crests of these lungs even at term.Entities:
