Abstract
Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) is a rare type of lymphoma related to herpesvirus-8 (HHV-8), and considered an AIDS-defining condition. The authors describe a case of PEL with cardiac involvement occurring in an HIV-positive patient treated with HAART and chemotherapy, who achieved complete remission and long survival.Entities:
