Hernia of the posthepatic septum of Gallus domesticus.

A description is given of herniations of the intestine and of the oviduct through the posthepatic septa into the respective ventral hepatic cavities. A very high incidence of hernia in the right posthepatic septum is recorded in two lines of White Leghorn hens at Houghton Poultry Research Station.
