[Comparison of telethermography and electromyography in instrumental symptomologic evaluation of the anterior temporalis and the masseter].

In 10 young subjects without pain or tenderness over the masseter and anterior temporal muscles left and right, skin surface temperature was measured over the area of these muscles, these subjects then underwent to an electromyographic examination for masseters and temporals. The findings obtained by these two different diagnostic tools were compared. From these comparison it comes out that in a large percentage of our sample they showed the same diagnostic result.
