Abstract
Idiopathic Ventricular Fibrillation is a rare cause of sudden cardiac death. It may be difficult to prospectively diagnose idiopathic ventricular fibrillation due to the episodic nature of the arrhythmias as well as the inability to induce the clinical tachycardia on electrophysiological studies. Although an implantable cardioverter defibrillator can terminate episodes of ventricular fibrillation, it cannot prevent recurrences. We describe a patient who underwent radiofrequency ablation of the culprit ectopics initiating ventricular fibrillation for frequent symptomatic episodes.Entities:
