Sampled photon counting with multilevel discrimination.

T L Gustafson1, F E Lytle, R S Tobias.

Abstract

Circuitry is described which provides increased data throughput by multilevel discrimination for time-resolved studies employing sampled photon counting. Linearity of response to within 5% for photon acceptance rates at 145% the repetition rate are obtainable.
