Abstract
2-Trimethylsilylcorannulenyl trifluoromethanesulfonate, prepared from bromocorannulene, provides a means for generating of 1,2-didehydrocorannulene (corannulyne) under very mild conditions as demonstrated by the high-yield formation of its adducts with dienes.Entities:
