Thyroid hemorrhage after thrombolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction.

Abstract

Thrombolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction is associated with hemorrhagic complications. We present a case of spontaneous thyroid hemorrhage after thrombolysis for acute myocardial infarction, resulting in tracheal compression. To our knowledge, this has not been previously described.
