Abstract
A 14-mm Amplatzer septal occluder was implanted in a 3.8-kg baby with a fenestrated atrial septal defect. The patient was eligible for percutaneous closure because of the high surgical risk due to his poor condition. In conclusion, despite the low weight of the baby, the Amplatzer septal occluder proved to be safe and effective.Entities:
