Abstract
Our population-based study of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis Beijing family examined the frequency of occurrence of each sublineage of this family, classified by using 10 synonymous single-nucleotide polymorphisms. The results revealed the overabundance of two evolutionary sublineages in a population of multidrug-resistant and extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis bacteria.Entities:
