Abstract
Calciphylaxis is a rare syndrome characterized by calcification of blood vessels and panniculitis in association with ecchymosis and/or skin necrosis. Most commonly, calciphylaxis is seen in patients with chronic renal failure. In this context, bisphosphonates have been successfully applied in some patients. Here we report on a patient with calciphylaxis of unknown origin treated with pamidronate.Entities:
