Abstract
Pathologic fractures and deformities are common complications of osteofibrous dysplasia. This article concerns a rare tumor-like lesion primarily in the tibial diaphysis in young patients. The case is presented of a girl with stress fracture, distinct antecurvation, relapse, and refracture. Surgical treatment is difficult and requires resection and reconstruction. Despite the controversial indication, we recommend this method due to the disorder's putative relationship with malignant adamantinoma.Entities:
