Abstract
In a twin pregnancy discordant for a chromosomal or structural abnormality, the family is faced with two alternatives: expectant management or selective feticide of the abnormal fetus. Methods of selective feticide differ according to chorionicity due to the presence of intertwin anastomoses in monochorionic placentas. Intracardiac KCl injection is commonly used in dichorionic pregnancies. Here, we describe an alternative method for selective feticide in dichorionic pregnancies by blood aspiration from the fetal heart until cardiac arrest.Entities:
