Abstract
Polymorphonuclear neutrophils play a crucial role in host defences against infectious diseases. New trends in anti-infectious therapy require knowledge of the possible interactions between the drugs and the natural defence system. This overview summarizes some of the in vitro data on the effects of anti-infectious agents on neutrophils. The relevance for the clinical situation is discussed.Entities:
