Abstract
This is the first report of airbag-induced facial and corneal abrasions associated with several weeks of blurred vision in a patient without previous visual or ocular problems. Similar episodes of minor trauma from airbags are becoming commonplace, reflecting the increasing popularity of these lifesaving devices. Nonetheless, airbag-associated injuries, especially facial and ocular injuries, should be monitored and reported to both increase physician awareness and to determine if further airbag design improvements are necessary.Entities:
