Abstract
Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms in Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) are common and occur in about two-thirds of patients. Surgical complications, while uncommon, are potentially severe. The preoperative diagnosis is based mainly on a high index of suspicion leading to imaging studies that may include abdominal sonography. We describe here the first case of a patient who developed recurrent intussusception attributed to HSP that led to repeated surgical interventions.Entities:
