The use of modified sutures in plastic surgery.

Abstract

SUMMARY: Modified sutures have been developed and are currently being used in closed and open facial rejuvenation procedures. In addition, these sutures have applications in body contouring procedures and wound closure. The indications and efficacy of these sutures continue to evolve.
