Abstract
The blood plasma level of albumin, C-reactive protein, common and specific antiendotoxinal immunoglobulins (Ig) was investigated in 52 patients after performance of large operations on the abdominal cavity organs. On the third postoperative day the blood concentration of albumin and antiendotoxinal Ig was low, while of C-reactive protein-high. It must be concluded, that the systemic inflammatory answer syndrome occurrence and the antiendotoxinal immunity inhibition after the operation are caused by the microorganisms translocation and interaction of specific antibodies with endotoxin.Entities:
