Abstract
Carney complex is an autosomal dominant disease that displays such characteristic features as cardiac and cutaneous myxomas and spotty pigmentation of the skin. We report here on a case of Carney complex that was accompanied by increased myxoid fibroadenomas in the breast and multiple intracranial aneurysms.Entities:

Fig. 1Carney complex associated with breast myxoid fibroadenomas and intracranial aneurysms in 37-year-old woman.
A. Mediolateral oblique mammogram of right breast shows multiple nodules (arrows).
B. Ultrasonogram of right breast shows hypoechoic well-defined nodule (arrowhead).
C. Follow-up ultrasonogram of right breast reveals increased hypoechoic or isoechoic well-defined nodules (arrows) as compared with previous one (arrowhead in B).
D. Photomicrograph (original magnification,×40; Hematoxylin & Eosin staining) of pathologic specimen of breast demonstrates proliferated myxoid stroma.
E. Photomicrograph (original magnification,×100; Hematoxylin & Eosin staining) of pathologic specimen of forearm shows abundant myxoid matrix.
F. T2-weighted MR image of breast reveals multiple well-defined ovoid nodules (arrows) with bright signal intensity.
G. T1-weighted dynamic subtraction MR images show persistent enhancement in lesion (arrows).
H. Two foci were selected as regions of interest. Signal-to-time curve indicates persistent enhancement in lesions.
I, J. Anteroposterior (I) and lateral (J) left vertebral angiogram depicts multiple fusiform dilatations in basilar artery (black arrowhead), left posterior cerebral artery (P2 segment) (black arrow) and right posterior cerebral artery (P4 segment) (white arrow).
K. Oblique left internal carotid angiogram shows aneurysm of temporal branch of left middle cerebral artery (white arrowhead).
L. Oblique right internal carotid angiogram shows aneurysms of distal branches of right middle cerebral artery (short black arrow) and right anterior cerebral artery (short white arrow).
