Abstract
Immediate hypersensitivity reactions to heparin have been described in the literature. Moreover, heparin remains the anticoagulant of choice in cardiopulmonary bypass. We describe a patient with heparin allergy who underwent successful heparin desensitization and a review of the literature.Entities:
