Nanostructured molybdenum oxides and their catalytic performance in the alkylation of arenes.

Abstract

We report for the first time that nanostructured MoO(3) is an excellent catalyst for the alkylation of a wide range of arenes with substituted benzyl alcohols as alkylating agents.
