Effects of Rous Sarcoma Virus on the synthetic programs of chondroblasts and retinal melanoblasts.

K Roby, D Boettiger, M Pacifici, H Holtzer.

Abstract

Chondroblasts and retinal melanoblasts have been transformed with a temperature-sensitive Rous Sarcoma Virus. At permissive temperature the transformed cells do not display their unique phenotypic properties. When such transformed cells are shifted to non-permissive temperature they do display their unique phenotypic properties.
