Abstract
A series of 167 infants and children presenting with palpable urologic abdominal masses from 1960 to 1973 has been reviewed. The groupings by age at presentation and type of urologic lesion enable us to make certain general statements. Emphasis is placed upon adequate preoperative evaluation in any child with an abdominal mass to avoid unnecessary laparotomy and morbidity.Entities:
