Abstract
We examined the prevalence of diabetes in a large, Hungarian, nationally representative adult population sample. The overall prevalence of diabetes was 6.2% (95% CI: 5.7-6.6). Increasing age and body mass index (BMI), male gender, physical inactivity, lower self-reported financial status, hypertension and non-smoking were independently associated with diabetes.Entities:
