Abstract
A Minireview with 51 references covering the two-step tethering and intramolecular glycosylation process termed intramolecular aglycon delivery (IAD). Specifically, glycosylation reactions where the tethered oxygen acts as nucleophile are covered. In the majority of cases, tethering to O-2 of a glycosyl donor ensures formation of a 1,2-cis glycoside after intramolecular glycosylation.Entities:
