Quality control of radiotherapy during pelvic irradiation.

S E Griffiths1, G G Khoury, A Eddy.

Abstract

For 20 patients undergoing pelvic irradiation, various set-up methods were compared for accuracy of field placement. The overall incidence of errors on 294 fields checked was lower (p less than 0.001) than that in a previous study. A standard deviation of 1.5 mm for lateral placement accuracy was obtained.
