Abstract
The basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) is one of the most powerful growth factors to promote wound healing. In this paper we describe two cases of skull base tumor requiring extensive skull base reconstruction, in which the application of bFGF was effective in the management and prevention of CSF leaks. The role and safeness of bFGF for skull base reconstruction are discussed.Entities:
