Abstract
Iatrogenic coronary arteriovenous fistulae (AVF) are a rare albeit serious complication of percutaneous coronary artery intervention. We report, to our knowledge, the first case of an AVF originating from the left anterior descending artery (LAD), draining into the great cardiac vein as a result of rotational atherectomy in a complex calcified lesion, complicated by congestive cardiac failure and subsequent percutaneous coil embolization of the AVF.Entities:
