Abstract
The progress in the surgical treatment of postinfarction left ventricular (LV) aneurysm surgery has reduced the operative mortality considerably, while the selection of the optimal LV repair technique remains unclear. Any of the surgical techniques presented in this review has its own advantages and disadvantages. The main goal of this study was to perform a selective literature review of LV aneurysm repair techniques, the most widespread being the linear repair and patch ventriculoplasty.Entities:
