S Chatelain1, D E Neumann, S M Alexander.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Disseminated herpetic infections during pregnancy have been reported in the literature. CASE: This case presentation describes a pregnant patient who presented with fever, elevated liver enzymes, and upper abdominal tenderness and succumbed from fulminant herpetic hepatitis.
