Abstract
We report a 45-year-old man with a 4-year history of Parkinson's disease complicated by the development of left-foot dystonia resulting in a fracture of the fifth metatarsal. Orthopedic injuries are common in Parkinson's disease, but they are usually secondary to falls. Although drug-induced dystonia is a common side effect of pharmacological treatment of Parkinson's disease, this is the first report of a fracture related to these abnormal movements.Entities:
