Abstract
We present three cases of pathology of the extensor pollicis longus tendon at the level of Lister's tubercle after falls with the wrist fully extended. A small anatomical study demonstrates the possibility of the base of the third metacarpal impacting this area in hyperextension. This mechanism of injury to the tendon may explain the clinical findings.Entities:
