Abstract
The dichloromethane extract of the air-dried leaves of Artemisia vulgaris afforded a new sesquiterpene 1, caryophyllene oxide, phytyl fatty acid esters, squalene, stigmasterol and sitosterol. The structure of 1 was elucidated by extensive one- and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Entities:
