Abstract
Differentiation in Bacillus subtilis involves the formation of specialized cell types called the mother cell and the forespore. These differ from each other and from their parent in developmental fate. Establishment of the two cell types and their subsequent differentiation is governed by the compartmentalized action of six developmental transcription factors.Entities:
