Abstract
The cloning of large DNAs as yeast artificial chromosomes (YACs) holds the promise of greatly expanding the scope of physical genomic mapping. Recent improvements in YAC clone libraries and their screening, as well as in the analysis of YAC-cloned DNA, are beginning to fulfill the potential of this system.Entities:
